TJ Finkelstein moves to a new town. She’s concerned about starting her new school. And sure enough, her first day in seventh grade she manages to become mortal enemies with the school’s most popular girl—who happens to be a famous actress. As if that wasn’t bad enough, two bizarre guys from the future have shown up to “help.” Only their way of helping only makes things worse.
Calling all Wally McDoogle fans! This is a fun new read from author Bill Myers. The characters were fun. I liked TJ, Chad, Naomi, and Doug. Tuna and Herby, our time travelers, were a little wacky. I found their futuristic dialogue and colloquialisms fun for young readers. Their slapstick action was equally zany, to the point of silliness. Younger readers will love this new series.
