Review by Jill and Luke Williamson
Abby Hunter and her little sister can’t wait until their new Korean sisters arrive. Their parents have been working on the adoption for some time, the bedroom is ready and waiting, now all they need is two Korean girls. But why aren’t they on the plane?
I bought these books for my son for Christmas. He is really into reading the Magic Treehouse, and these seemed the right length. He can read on in a few hours and he really enjoys them. The story was sweet. There was twelve, four-page chapters in this book. Highly recommended for kids who are just starting out with chapter books.
From Luke, age 8: It was funny because they were expecting sisters, but they got brothers. And they had an entire room decorated for sisters, but then they had to decorate the room for brothers. It made me want to read book two. I also like the drawings. I give it five stars.
