Melissa Rollins has everything under control. She has a lot on her plate with the dance team, high school homework, staying in shape, eating healthy, and balancing her new boyfriend. But if one thing is out of order in her highly-organized day, everything spirals out of control. Melissa struggles to make her life work perfectly, but her weight is harder to maintain than she thought. It seems that even toothpaste has calories! Can Melissa put the pieces back together if she takes things too far?
This was an entertaining yet heartbreaking read. I hated seeing Melissa’s warped view of her reality but know how confusing life as a teenage girl can be today. Ms. Smith does a masterful job of creating Melissa’s world, and I was entranced with her journey to find truth. Recommended.
